2019-2020 RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION
1. Beginning Wednesday July 24, parents need to log on to the PISD Parent Portal. You will need your child’s legal name, campus (Centennial) and 6-digit student ID #. (The ID # is the # they use to buy lunch at school or check library books out with.) If you do not have a Parent Portal account, click HERE for instructions on how to create one.
2. After you login, scroll to the blue box that says Student Registration Forms and select the name of your child. You will notice 2 X’s next to each section that needs updating/changing. Once you have successfully completed each section, a green check mark will appear. The entire process will take about 15 minutes.
- Update your child’s 2019-2020 “Emergency Card”
- Complete the “Registration Forms” (Truancy Notice, Information Release, PTA/PTSA Consent Form, Food Service, and electronic Signature tabs)
Below is an example of what your screen will look like once you have completed and signed all the necessary online forms.
3. On the Parent Portal home page, sign up for the Centennial eNews . Scroll down to blue box that says eNews. Click “Login to eNews”, update your Profile on the Profile Tab, then click on the Subscriptions Tab. Choose Elementary School, then choose Centennial and click UPDATE. All Centennial newsletters are sent electronically. Please make sure you subscribe to the Centennial newsletter to be kept informed of all activities and communication from school administration.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The above must be completed by Friday, Aug. 2, to complete class lists for our teachers. During the week of August 5th, you will receive an email from your child’s new homeroom teacher for the 2019-2020 school year.
- If you do not have an email address listed on Parent Portal, your child’s new teacher will not be able to communicate with you.
- Meet the teacher for grades (1-5) will be Friday, August 9 from 7:30 – 8:30 am. This is a come and go event. Kinder Kamp will be the same day from 8:30 - 9:30 am.
