Centennial PTA Fundraising

Your PTA donations and volunteer activities support programs furthering our mission and vision to make every child's potential a reality.  Your PTA donations enhance and directly impact each and every student at Centennial Elementary, as well as all Centennial teachers, staff and the campus.

Each year, the Centennial PTA Fundraising Committee collects funds needed through various programs including:

  • Book Fairs
  • Spirit Wear
  • 5th Grade Yearbook Dedications
  • Color Run
  • Comet Campaign (formerly known as write-a-check)
  • Corporate Sponsorship
  • Community Partnership

To learn more about some of our fundraisers, see details below.  If you have any questions about any of our fundraisers, please contact our VP of Fundraising at vp.fundraising@centennialpta.net

Comet Campaign

Our Comet Campaign (formerly known as Write-A-Check) is an opportunity for parents and community members to make financial donations directly to Centennial PTA.  No donation is too large or too small.  We encourage you to find an amount that fits your personal budget.  Remember that every donation is 100% tax deductible.  Donations can be made online through our  Centennial PTA Online Order page.  More information will be coming soon on our Centennial Comet Campaign page.

Corporate Sponsorship

The Centennial PTA launched an opportunity for local businesses to support the students, staff and campus of Centennial through annual Corporate Sponsorship relationships.  The funds donated by these local businesses support the various programs and events hosted by Centennial's PTA.

There are several levels of corporate sponsorship at Centennial.  See our Corporate Sponsorship Levels to learn about the various sponsorship opportunities.   Contact our VP of Fundraising to begin the process of Corporate Sponsorship @ vp.fundraising@centennialpta.net

BOOK FAIR

Centennial PTA hosts a Scholastic Book Fair every fall and spring to provide books and literary materials for our students, staff, and families.  Funds raised through these book fairs help the PTA provide new and exciting books for our school librarian to offer for students to checkout.  For more information about Scholastic Book Fairs, you can visit their website.  To find out how you can help with our Centennial Book Fairs, please contact our Book Fair Chair at bookfair@centennialpta.net or sign-up to volunteer through out Centennial Volunteer Forms

Community Partnerships

Centennial PTA encourages our parents, staff and community to participate in our Community Partners programs.  These programs offer rewards to Centennial PTA based on purchases made by our parents.  Programs are free to participate.  Local Spirit Nights, Kroger and Tom Thumb rewards programs, Smile.Amazon, and Box Tops for Education are all participating community partnerships.  For questions or suggestions for community partners, please contact our Fundraising chair at vp.fundraising@centennialpta.net.

Spirit Wear

Every year, Centennial PTA offers new and fun spirit wear for families to purchase.  The money raised through sales help us to provide programs and events for all of our families to enjoy.  To see our current selection of spirit wear items for sale, visit our Centennial PTA Online Order page.  For questions regarding Spirit Wear, please email spiritwear@centennialpta.net.

EMPLOYER MATCHING GIFT PROGRAM

Because of our non-profit status, anyone who donates to the Centennial PTA can submit a form to their employer to ask them to match the amount of their donation to us. The form is usually provided by your company – you just have to submit a copy of your donation receipt, or the letter that we send you thanking you for your donation, and encourage your company to match your donation.  Here’s a list of companies that are known to have a Matching Gift Program. It’s not all-inclusive, so companies not on this list may still have a matching program. Please contact our vice-president of Fundraising at vp.fundraising@centennialpta.net, for more information.
