Reading Matters.  For most adults, reading is second nature. Teaching your child to read “early” and well has multiple benefits and is the key to your child’s academic future. Reading opens the door to your child’s early academic success, imparts a love of learning and leads to higher grades in every subject.

The Centennial PTA supports the end-of-year celebrations for students who have worked throughout the year to complete this challenge!

In addition to reading initiatives, the Centennial PTA invites several authors to visit our school each year to share their exciting books and experiences with the Centennial students!  In past years our PTA has hosted illustrators, cartoonists, non-fiction writers and more to inspire our students!

Please join us this year in challenging your child to read an extra book or two or more.
