WATCH D.O.G.S.

The Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program is the father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that organizes fathers and father figures in order to provide positive male role models for students and to enhance school security.
The Watch D.O.G.S. program engages men, inspires children, helps reduce bullying, and enhances the educational environment at the school. Watch D.O.G.S. are fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.
Ready to be a WatchDOG? Just 3 requirements!
Please note the VOLY Background Check system may be backed up. If you have registered and have waited more than 3-5 business days for an answer, please reach out the district officials at vbcheck@pisd.edu OR volunteer@pisd.edu. This is a hard requirement for volunteering on campus.
