Friendship Parties

Description

Our Friendship Day Party is taking place on Friday, February 14th. Here are a few things to know:

- Please do not have students pass out individual Valentines for certain people, but rather bring Valentines for the entire class.

- Students can bring their own special snack for the party. This is in addition to the normal snack. Snacks may NOT be shared among students.

- Students can bring in a decorated box or bag to collect Valentines from classmates. Large Kleenex boxes, gift bags, cereal boxes, large oatmeal canisters, etc. are all easy to make into Valentines containers.

- Fill out only the “From” part of the Valentine card, not the “To” part. This will help make passing them out go smoothly!

- Students will not be able to travel to other grade levels/parts of the building to pass out Valentines.

If your child is unable to bring a box or bag for their Valentines, please don't hesitate to let us know!

We have students who have a moderate/severe/life threatening allergy to peanuts and tree nuts. While we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, with your help, we can attempt to accommodate these students. Therefore we are requesting that you please send nut-free treats with your child for our Friendship Party treat exchanges. If you have questions, you may contact Nurse Rufus at chantal.rufus@pisd.edu.

We look forward to celebrating Friendship Week!
