LUNCH WITH A LOVED ONE

Dear Centennial Families,

We are so excited to bring back Lunch with a Loved One this year from September 19th - September 23rd! For those who don’t know, Lunch with A Loved One is an exciting chance for all “loved ones” to join their student for lunch and to shop at our Scholastic book fair.

Since it has been a while, we wanted to share some helpful updates and reminders to help ensure you have a wonderful visit!

Visitors will eat lunch with their student during their assigned grade level lunch time at our special Lunch with a Loved One tables set up throughout the main hall. Students are expected to be back in their grade level by the end of lunch. Please see below for the lunch schedule. Students must have their OWN loved one attending to be able to eat in the hall.

ALL visitors must show a government issued ID in order to enter the building. We encourage all loved ones to RSVP in advance so that we can have a visitor badge printed and ready for you when you arrive. Use this link to RSVP. When you RSVP, be sure to use the legal name that matches the ID you will provide. If you (or another loved one) plan to attend multiple days, you can RSVP for all of those days so we can have a badge ready for you each day. You will only need one badge per day, even if you plan to attend multiple lunches. The RSVP list will be turned off the day before in order to allow us time to print badges, so be sure to RSVP early!

If you have RSVP’d, please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before your child’s scheduled lunch time in order to allow time to check in! Forget to RSVP or miss the deadline? No problem! You can still join us - but we encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early in order to allow time for us to print a visitor badge for you. We thank you in advance for your patience with this, as we only have one badge printer!

Loved ones are welcome to bring lunch for their student to eat in the hallway prior to visiting the bookfair.  We encourage you to participate in our Chick-Fil-A fundraiser! If you purchase lunch from Chick-Fil-A, mention Centennial elementary and 15% of your order will be donated to the school! Students and loved ones are also welcome to purchase lunch from the cafeteria. Lunch is $2.85 for students and $4.50 for adults.
