The Centennial community is dedicated to helping families with personal needs throughout the year. One additional way we are able to help is by assisting families during the holidays. Each year the Centennial Library & PTA partner for end-of-year celebrations for students who have worked throughout the year to complete statewide reading programs:
-Texas 2x2 (Grades K-2)
-Texas Bluebonnet (Grades 3-5)
-Little Maverick (All grades)
-40 Book Challenge (All grades)

Students receive medals, prizes and the newest award-winning books. With holiday breaks approaching, it's a great time to set reading goals. Note that the school library and all Plano libraries have special sections to make finding these award-winning books easy.

To participate, download and print the form for your grade level from the Centennial PTA Membership Toolkit Reading Programs page. Each form requires a short synopsis and parent initials. Students can participate in all programs for which they are eligible.
