CHROMEBOOK & SCHOOL MATERIAL DISTRIBUTION AUGUST 6 & 7 
On Thursday, August 6 (3:00-7:00 PM) or Friday, August 7 (7:00-11:00 AM) please come through the front carpool lane to pick up the following items: - Chromebook & Charger (see note below)
- EnVision Student Math Book 1 (grades K-5)
- HMH Reading myBook 1 (grades 1-5)
GREAT NEWS! If you ordered your School Supplies by noon on Wednesday, August 5th, you will also pick them up with your Chromebooks and text books on August 6th or 7th! See more detail in the School Supplies section below.
CHROMEBOOK NOTE: All students in grades K-5 will be issued a Chromebook (required by the district as an essential resource for instruction and assessment). Those who need a Chromebook for the 20-21 school year need to complete this required form in advance. Even if your student(s) already has a Chromebook from last school year, you STILL need to come to pick up other grade level materials to start the school year.
Each vehicle will need a sign with the Student Name, ID # and Grade Level. Please have this taped to the passenger side window and in a large, dark font to make it easy for staff to read from the curb as you pull up to the station. You may use this template if you wish.

2020 - 2021 School Supply Kits are $50 per student.
GREAT NEWS! If you ordered your School Supplies by noon on Wednesday, August 5th you can pick them up with your Chromebooks and text books on August 6th or 7th! Please note that students will need to bring their supplies back with them once they return to Face-to-Face learning as students will NOT be sharing supplies this year (per Return to School plan). Also note that some supplies will not be passed out but will remain in school for use when students return to the classroom (hand sanitizers, Kleenex, sanitizing wipes, bulk construction paper, etc.). Students who order school supplies after noon on Wednesday, August 5th will get their school supplies on their first day in the classroom (Face-to-Face leaning) or through a car line pickup on Tuesday, September 8th (School@Home learning).

Students participating in Face-to-Face learning environment will have their spirit wear distributed to them at school. Details about distribution for students participating in the School@Home (beyond the initial 3 weeks of virtual learning) will be sent as soon as possible and may include a "car line" pickup.

CENSUS 2020: ACTION REQUIRED
Help shape the future of public school funding by completing the 2020 Census TODAY! The results of the 2020 Census will help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding flow into communities like Plano every year for the next decade.
That funding shapes many different aspects of our community and public schools, including, but not limited to the Head Start program, grants for teachers and special education.
The Census is not allowed to publicly release your responses in a way that could identify you. By law, the Bureau can use your responses only to produce statistics. If you respond online, all data are encrypted in order to protect your privacy.

2020-2021 LEARNING ENVIRONMENT UPDATES
As a reminder, Plano ISD made the decision to begin the 2020-2021 school year in a completely virtual environment for all students through Labor Day. Please refer to the original communication from PISD HERE.
Please finalize your learning environment selection in Parent Portal by August 6th to allow maximum time for Centennial teachers and administration to plan for the first 9 weeks of school. Students opting for face-to-face learning would return to their assigned campus for classes beginning on Wednesday, September 9th. Students opting for School@Home would continue learning virtually for the remainder of the nine week grading period.
