ENRICHMENT PROGRAM REMINDERS!Remember, after school enrichment programs begin next week! - PlayWell (LEGO) Robotics & PowerKids begin on Tuesday, September 10th
- Chess begins on Wednesday, September 11th.
The Enrichment and Chess Chairs still need volunteers to sign-up on the Volunteer Forms to help with attendance, snack distribution and dismissal. If your student(s) is enrolled in any of the programs please consider signing up for one date. Volunteer support is vital so the PTA can continue to offer these programs. The Enrichment and Chess Chairs appreciate your support! |
WATCH DOGSA huge thank you to the wonderful Centennial families who were able to join us for the kick-off event last week! As the Watch Dogs program begins this year, interested participants may sign up for one day per family for the school year. If additional days are available, the PTA will contact those interested in serving on additional dates. Indicate your interest in volunteering for additional Watch Dog days HERE. Additionally, if your schedule is flexible and you can fill in on short notice (24 to 48 hours), please sign up HERE so the PTA can contact you as unexpected openings become available! For those new to the program, you must be a cleared volunteer to participate. Be sure to complete the PISD Volunteer Application, which must be submitted every year and can take up to 2 weeks for PISD to process. Thank you for your support and participation! Should you have any further questions, please email Mona at WatchDogs@CentennialPTA.net. |
VOLUNTEER REMINDERSOur Volunteers are superheros! The PTA Volunteer Program is one of the best ways parents can support the students and staff at Centennial Elementary. There are many opportunities available on the PTA Volunteer Forms. We'd also like to take this time to share some friendly volunteer reminders! - Centennial kindly asks that you please do not bring smaller children with you to volunteer. Teachers are more than willing to send home workroom items when they become available. Please feel free to contact your grade level team leader or your child’s teacher.
- For safety and security purposes, Centennial asks that you please remain in the area where you are volunteering. If you are volunteering in the cafeteria, please remain in the cafeteria. If you would like to also volunteer in the workroom, please check in the front office, we will gladly print you a new sticker.
- If you see something that you feel needs to be addressed by an adult, please let a staff member know.
Centennial appreciate the time you spend volunteering on the Centennial campus. Our volunteers play a vital role in helping the Centennial staff be successful. Thank you for being #differencemakers! |
