Staff Appreciation Week May 6th-10th

Join the PTA for the final General Meeting of the school year on Tuesday, May 7th at 10 am in the Centennial Cafeteria. Come celebrate all the PTA has accomplished this school year and learn about what lies ahead next year, including approval of the 2019/2020 proposed budget. Coffee and breakfast treats will be served. We hope to see you there! |
Texas Rangers and COACH KAY Let's go to the ballgame! Join us as we cheer on the Rangers and our very own Coach Jenn Kay a 2019 Rangers Ballgirl! 
Date: May 18-3:05 pm Rangers vs. Cardinals Join us in section 10 where a group of seats have been reserved specifically for Centennial students and families. Seats are close to the action and close enough to see Coach Kay. Families are encouraged to come early to the game and watch Coach Kay warm up the ballplayers. Monday, May 20, is Field Day! Field Day is one of the most anticipated days of the school year, filled with teamwork, games, fitness, and outdoor activities!
The Field Day Schedule is as follows: Grades K-2: 8:30-11:00 am Grades 3-5: 12:00-2:20 pm
Students should wear tennis shoes and their Centennial Field Day t-shirt (in the color indicated below for their grade level). Parents may want to pack a change of clothes for their students, as some of the games involve water. Field Day t-shirts can be ordered HERE --> https://centennialpta.membershiptoolkit.com/packet/37829. Remember that the color and shirt will follow your Comet through their tenure at Centennial, so you may want to order a size that will accommodate a few years of growth. Field Day t-shirt orders are due Wednesday, May 8. If you choose not to purchase a Field Day t-shirt, be sure your student wears a shirt in the color indicated below for the student's grade level:

This year The Plano Principal Association was able award four $1500 scholarships for students and several more for employees seeking higher education. It is a great feeling to support our own aspiring educators! Please register soon for the 2019 PPA Scholarship Scramble on June 7th. Plano West Summer Tennis Camps

PLANO PISD NIGHT at THE STAR
The Dallas Rattlers will be hosting Plano ISD Night at Ford Center at The Star. The game is set for 3:00 p.m. Tickets are discounted by up to 50%: starting at only $15!
