Congratulations to Jennifer Holman!!!! Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Month, Jennifer Holman! This is her first year at Centennial. She moved with her family to West Plano last year. Jennifer has three kiddos: Aubrey in 2nd Grade, Madeleine (Linnie) in 1st Grade, and Violet (3 years old). She loved chaperoning the First and Second Grade field trips this year, and is looking forward to volunteering on Field Day! Thank you so much for your time Jennifer! #DifferenceMake

There will not be After School Enrichment (Play Well Lego, Powerkids, or Chess) on Tuesday, April 9th or Wednesday, April 10th. The last day for Play-Well LEGO class will be April 23rd and the last day for Chess is April 24th. PowerKids will be make up date to be announced soon. |

Every child at Centennial benefits from an enhanced educational experience provided by our PTA programs. Your financial and volunteer support ensures the success of these programs.
The Centennial Auction is all about the fun! Whether it be a party with a teacher, a restaurant gift card, or a parking spot, there is a something for everyone! Here are a few of the awesome auction items you can find this year. Reading Programs All good things must come to an end. Reading Program logs are due by 3pm on Friday, April 12th. Please finish reading that last book, fill out the form(s) and give it or them to Ms. Seguin! Last Friday, Centennial had a fantastic visit with illustrator and author, David Catrow. Please ask your child about what he/she learned or saw. Centennial PTA will be including Mr. Catrow's original and autographed artworks during the Spring Picnic's silent auction starting next Monday. Please be on the look out for those listings!

Earth Day is April 22, 2019 Be a part of diverting thousands of pounds of shoes and clothing from local landfills by placing in your school’s bin your gently used shoes, clothing, purses, belts, wallets, hats, ÂÂÂÂÂcaps, backpacks, hard toys, stuffed animals and pots and pans. For every pound collected from you, your school or PTA receives $0.15 per pound. The benefit to you? Neater closets, drawers, toy boxes, and kitchens, and the knowledge that less textile waste will end up in our landfills. If your school can collect 2,500 lbs or more during Earth Month, World Wear Project will give your school an EXTRA $100. Help out your school by getting your family involved in cleaning out your closets today.

Staff Appreciation WeekMay 6th-10th 
Staff Appreciation Week will be here before we know it! Please help us show our Centennial teachers and staff how much they mean to our families Let’s treat them to a gourmet casserole dinner prepared by Central Market. When you purchase a casserole, they will receive a casserole of their choice, salad, and chocolate chunk cookies. Cost is $26 and the deadline to purchase is Friday, April 26th.
