We LOVE our Centennial Volunteers! Please take a moment today to submit your application as a 2017-2018 Volunteer. Go to PISD's Volunteer Application website and complete your registration form. All volunteers must complete this process every year, including returning volunteers. The approval process can take several weeks to complete due to the volume of applicants. Submitting now is a great way to ensure that you will be approved when school starts. If you are volunteering at more than one school, you may save time by selecting all the locations on the "Jobs" tab, but please make sure you select Centennial Elementary. If your spouse or other adult family members would like to volunteer during the year, please have them complete the application at this time as well. If you have questions, visit PISD's PTA & Volunteering website or contact JulieTraub at vp.volunteers@centennialpta.net Also, we are looking for Grade-level volunteer coordinators for Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade. This person will be the contact for teachers in each grade level when they need volunteers. It is a great way to get to know the teachers and other parents. Are you new to Centennial Elementary? To register you children for the 2017-2018 school year please come to Centennial's front office from 9:00am- 11:00am OR 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on August 7th or 8th. Centennial Elementary 2609 Ventura Drive Plano, Texas 75093 Please bring the following with you to register: - Birth Certificate (must be original)
- Immunization Records (must be original and translated in English)
- Social Security Card (must be original)
- Parent or Legal Guardian's Driver's License
- Proof of Residency in Plano ISD
- Example: gas or electric bill (must show service address)

2017-2018 PTA MembershipPTA Membership for the 2017-2018 school year will open August 1st. We would love to have ALL of our parents join the PTA. Please remember that you do not need to volunteer your time to be a member of the PTA - although we love our volunteers! We understand that some parents simply are unable to volunteer their time. 100% of the membership dues paid by parents are used to support programs for ALL of our Centennial students. Just a few of those programs and student benefits include: - Book Fairs

5th Grade Adventure Camp Camp dates for Centennial’s 2017-2018 5th graders: September 25-27, 2017 To learn more about Collin County Adventure Camp please visit http://k12.pisd.edu/fifth-grade-outdoor-school Camp shirts are available for purchase on Centennial’s PTA website starting August 1st, 2017. Camp information night at Centennial is August 22, 2017 5:00-5:45 and again 7:00-7:45. |
Please Donate Box Tops One easy way to help the PTA provide all of the fun and educational events and programs for Centennial students is by saving the “Boxtops for Education†coupons from the products you purchase everyday. One “Boxtop†is worth 10 cents. If every student saves just 10 “Boxtops†this summer, that would be over $700! Boxtops are found on many products, such as Pillsbury, General Mills cereals, Ziplock bags, Progresso, Chex Mix and many, many more. Just snip the “Boxtop coupon†off the packaging and save them - so easy! Please help Centennial PTA with this simple fundraiser!

July 1: PISD security clearance for all volunteers opens for the 2015-16 school year. Plano ISD policy requires all volunteers to complete a security clearance application every school year.
August 1: "Sign Up Centennial" online registration and payment for Centennial PTA membership, school supplies, yearbooks, programs and more!
August 5: Hawaiian Falls Family Night August 7 & 8: New Student Registration 9-11am and 1-3pm
August 18: Meet The Teacher, 7:30-8:30am (1-5 grades only) 8:30-9:30am Kinder Kamp (incoming Kindergartners and parents) August 21: First Day of School 7:45am-2:45pm
