2023 JUNIOR COTILLION REGISTRATION

YOU'RE INVITED TO DINO GEORGE ON FEB 14, 2023

Please join us for a DINO-mite event on Valentine's Day as Centennial Elementary PTA presents to our campus for the FIRST TIME EVER Dinosaur George, a traveling museum!

Dinosaur George is a paleontologist with a traveling museum who provides a fun, exciting, and educational environment for students of all grade levels. The exhibit includes fossils of mammals, dinosaurs and sea creatures from all around the world.

This year we will also be opening the museum to invite parents and families during after school hours (5-7pm). This event is free and open to the public. Weather permitting, Snowies Sno Cone truck will be making an appearance with food items available for purchase!

Families are also welcome to shop with students during these hours. Students can also pre-order items using the order form that will be going home with your child next week!

20% of all final sales will be donated back to Centennial PTA.

We hope you can DIG in and join us Tuesday, February 14^th for this event! Our goal is to foster student development by engaging our entire school community including students, parents, teachers and school administration.

CUSTODIAN APPRECIATION DAY IS MONDAY, FEB 13TH!

Help us celebrate Zoila, the Centennial custodian on Monday, Feb 13th by bringing in letters, pictures, and flowers letting Zoila know how much we appreciate her for keeping the school clean!

SAVE THE DATE FOR CENTENNIAL MULTICULTURAL NIGHT - FRIDAY, APRIL 14

Come celebrate the cultural diversity in our Centennial Community and volunteer to participate in the celebration on the evening on Friday April 14th! This is a fun opportunity for your children to share live cultural performances, and for parents to create table displays to showcase your heritage! There will be food trucks, music, and entertainment!!

In February we will post the link to a Sign-up Genius to let us know how you will volunteer and participate!

BIG CENTER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITES

Kindergarten "Big Centers" is a great way to get involved and be hands-on with our youngest students! During Big Centers you will be asked to assist a small group of children per class with various art projects as their classmates play in different centers around the room. Shifts run Tuesday-Friday, from 11:10 am-1:05 pm. You will have the opportunity to work with each kindergarten class during each shift!
