2021-2022 SCHOOL CALENDAR

Don't forget: Get ready for the 2021-2022 school year with this step-by-step list!

** You will need to re-register your PTA membership & volunteer application each school year.**

1) Register: Update and/or complete your Parent & Student Profile HERE. You must complete this step first before you will see any order forms (school supplies, volunteer interest forms, spirit wear, etc.)

2) Select your Directory & PublishPreferencesHERE.

3) Select your Volunteer Preferences HERE.

4) Sign-Up to receive PTA News & EventRemindersHERE.

5) Make a Tax-Deductible Donation HERE to support PTA Programs and Events.

6) Follow Centennial PTA on Facebook HERE. This is our #1 source of getting news out to parents on a daily basis!

7.) Follow Centennial Elementary on Facebook HERE for the latest school information.

8) Update your PISD Parent Portal InformationHERE between 7/26 & 8/3. For instructions on how to update the PISD Parent Portal, click HERE.

9) Complete the PISDVolunteerApplication HERE. Remember this application must be renewed every school year for anyone who plans to volunteer during the 2021-2022 school year. Please select Centennial Elementary for the Job Location on your application.

10) Order your 2021-2022 School Supplies HERE by Friday, August 27th to be delivered to your child's classroom

11) NEW- Order your 2021-2022 Back to School Bundle HERE by Tuesday, August 31st (includes PTA membership, discounted yearbook and gray Centennial shirt)

12) Order your 2021-2022 PTA Membership HERE

13) Order your 2021-2022 Student Yearbook HERE

14) Order your 2021-2022 Centennial Spirit Wear HERE by Tuesday, August 31st

Meet the teacher will be Monday, August 9th.

1st-5th grade will be from 7:30-8:30 am

Kindergarten will be from 8:30-9:30 am (in the library)

All parents of new and returning students must complete the Parent Portal emergency and registration documents in order to see their teacher assignment on Friday, August 6th at midnight. Please remember, it takes 24 hours for Parent Portal to update, so we strongly encourage you not to wait until Friday. Instructions for Parent Portal can be found here.

All incoming kinder students will be assigned to Jeannie Morrison until after Kinder Kamp and teacher assignments are made. More information about Kinder Kamp at Meet the Teacher on August 9th, from 8:30-9:30am.

Buy Your School Supplies Here... 3 Easy Steps:

- Log into the Centennial Parent Portal and fill out the current paperwork HERE

- Click on the tab labeled Order / Volunteer Forms and scroll down to online order forms/enrollment.

- Find the tab to purchase your school supplies, purchased school supplies will be delivered to your child's assigned classroom teacher.

PSHS MILITARY APPRECIATION GAME - 8/27

After a year hiatus, Plano Senior High School will once again have a football game designated as a Military Appreciation Game. This year, at our 8/27 game against Byron Nelson, we will be recognizing the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and the War on Terrorism.

If you have a family member who is a Plano ISD alum, and has served in any of the branches of military service since 9/11, please send bryan.spiritus@pisd.edu their picture in .jpg format along with their name and we will be running a slide show with their pictures on the jumbotron at Clark Stadium.

BACK TO SCHOOL SPLASH AT HAWAIIAN FALLS

Save the date for the annual Back to School Splash at Hawaiian Falls hosted by the Plano ISD PTA! The 2021-2022 Back to School Splash will be on September 5th, 2021. Be sure to tell them you're with the Centennial PTA when you purchase your tickets - $5 from each ticket purchased will get donated to our PTA!
