Enjoy a restful and safe spring break! There is no school Monday, March 8th through Friday, March 12th. The 4th nine-weeks of school resumes on Monday, March 15th.

Reminder: Material pick-up for School@Home students will be on Tuesday, March 16th from 3 to 4pm.

ONLINE KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION MARCH 19

It’s time to “RockEnroll” for next school year’s Head Start, kindergarten and preK programs. Look for more information and resources on Plano ISD’s website and social media. Online kindergarten enrollment begins on March 19th for students who turn 5 years old on or before September 1, 2021.

Early enrollment helps our amazing staff plan for a great year. Be sure to spread the word to friends and neighbors who have an incoming kinder kiddo! Every kid counts!

PATTY H. MEYER SCHOLARSHIP FOR PISD SENIORS

Each year, the Centennial PTA is honored to award a $1,000 Patty H. Meyer Scholarship to a graduating PISD student who was previously a 5th grader at Centennial Elementary School.

AUTHOR VISIT & BOOK ORDER INFORMATION

The Centennial PTA will welcome illustrator and author Vuthy "Woody" Kuon via a virtual visit on March 25. Pre-orders to receive books by the visit are closed, but there's still time to order books with a personal autograph and a special illustration until April 1. Books ordered March 4 - April 1 will be received in April.

PTA EDUCATIONAL ENHANCEMENT GRANT COMMITTEE INTEREST

Are you interested in serving on the PTA Education Enhancement Grant Committee (formerly known as the Wish List Committee)?

This committee reviews the grant requests submitted by Centennial Administration, Teachers and Members and determines how best to utilize the available PTA Educational Enhancement Grant Budget for 2020/2021.
