LEARNING ENVIRONMENT SELECTION As we approach the end of the first nine weeks, you may be interested in changing your child’s learning environment for the second nine weeks (Face-To-Face or School@Home). The option to change learning environments is now open in Parent Portal and will remain open through the end of the day on Friday, October 2, 2020. In order to make changes, please see the information & instructions HERE. Please note: - Every parent should log into Parent Portal to confirm that their child’s learning environment is currently listed correctly.
- Action is required ONLY if you want to change your child’s learning environment for the 2nd 9 Weeks.
- Changes will be in effect beginning October 13th and will last through the rest of the semester (December 18, 2020).
- Change in Environment will almost always result in a teacher change
- The District will try to maintain social distancing in the Face2Face classrooms to the greatest degree possible, however, Face2Face classrooms may increase to 22:1 depending upon the number of PISD School@Home students who change to Face2Face learning environment.

YEARBOOK CANDID PHOTOS - SNAP & SHARE! Help make the Centennial yearbook amazing! This very unusual school year has made it difficult for yearbook photographers to capture the many moments we traditionally publish in the Centennial Yearbook. Until all students and volunteers are safely back on campus, we're going to NEED YOUR HELP to capture fun, candid pictures from these first few months at school, including 1st days of school, the book fair and red ribbon week dress-up days, outdoor fun, and so much more! Look for more information coming soon with instructions on how to share photos with the yearbook staff for possible publication in the yearbook. We thank you in advance!
YEARBOOK EDITORS NEEDED Are you interested in being part of the amazing team that creates the Centennial yearbook? We're looking for 3rd & 4th grade-level editors. No experience necessary! This is a great way to connect with other Centennial parents and an awesome way to see all the school fun first-hand! Contact Ashley at YearbookEditor@centennialPTA.net for more information or to volunteer.
FIFTH GRADE YEARBOOK AD INFORMATION Celebrate all your 5th Grader has accomplished with a yearbook dedication ad. Recognize and congratulate him or her on the special and unique person they are becoming.
