VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH

Vishnu Sathrasala is our volunteer of the month for September!  Congratulations, Vishnu!

Vishnu truly enjoys working with young students. She is the mom of Aadhya Sathrasala, a 2nd Grader at Centennial. Vishnu has been volunteering at Centennial for 3 years. She enjoys all volunteer activities; however, her favorite is Workroom and Library.

Thank you so much for your time Vishnu! Centennial Comets appreciate your support. #Differencemaker

BOX TOPS DUE TOMORROW!

You've been clipping and collecting all summer, now it is time to turn them in to your student's homeroom teacher!  Box Tops are due October 4th

Don't forget to put your box tops in a sandwich bag or envelope clearly labeled with the student grade & the number of box tops enclosed.

The grade with the most collected Box Tops wins a FREE RECESS!

COLOR RUN IS COMING!

The Centennial Color Run is a fun experience for students, staff and families! It is also one of the primary fundraising activities for the Centennial PTA.  The funds raised during Color Run go toward supporting the exceptional PTA programming each and every student at Centennial benefits from.  The PTA supports and funds many programs that build community, enrich the classroom experience, and develop the whole student.

Don't forget to complete your student's Color Run Permission Form, which was sent home earlier this week.  This permission form, along with Color Run pledges must be submitted to their homeroom teacher by Friday, October 11th to ensure they get a Color Run T-Shirt.

Participating in the Color Run is easy, it's fun and it's impact is felt by the 550+ students at Centennial, their families, and the Centennial teachers and faculty.

If you have questions, please contact the PTA VP of Fundraising, Shrayashi, at VP.Fundraising@Centennialpta.net

JOIN US FOR A FALL FAMILY PICNIC

Look for more details coming home as the PTA Fall Family Picnic approaches, including volunteer opportunities.  Events like these are dependent on volunteer support!  Thank you in advance for your participation!

COMETS FIT CHALLENGE

The Comets Fit Challenge is a fun, at-home exercise challenge where students can interact through use of social media, while scoring points to move ahead on the Centennial Leader Boards at school!!

The Centennial PE coaches want to promote a healthy lifestyle through simple exercises that students (and their families) can continue throughout their lives, creating Lifetime Movers!
